"Farm workers to Farm Owners"
Mission: The Center for Latino Farmers (Center)
was established in 2001 by Rural Community Development Resources (RCDR) to work with primarily Spanish-speaking farm workers in their transition to farm ownership. The program was designed to
empower the agricultural communities of Washington State through development of the individual. Objectives: The Center empowers new and emerging farmers to efficiently and effectively run their
businesses by connecting them to USDA services, providing training workshops, preparing loan packages, and providing one-on-one
technical assistance services. Services are provided individually or in group settings in both Spanish and English.
